A Roman Holiday with TMB!

Ciao bellos,

so the moving blob (TMB) merged our way to Rome from Greece. Greece was definitely the craziest trip we've ever been on together, and we've made friends and also emotionally attatched ourselves to the island and what's there - the bars, the desperation bridge, pitbull amongst many other great things. But we had to leave...we had to get back to reality....

But before going back to Belgium and school, we had a little time to be the sal tourists we are in the beautiful capital of Italy - Roma!

Even though we were all sick and we all looked like crackwhores, we got our shit together and made a day of it, we went sightseeing in Rome for a day. For once TMB was really efficient and we managed to see many of the monuments.

We began our sightseeing the Trevi Fountain and threw in a coin or two to make a wish. We then moved our way to Colloseum, where we somehow ended up with a guided tour. I'm 90% sure she was some local italian woman they had hired who just bullshitted her way through the tour, so we snuck away from the group and looked around for ourselves.

After colloseum, we took a sketchy uber to the Vatican City - something we couldn't miss. Because of the dress code (which we were all violating) we could only hang out in the square and not enter any churches etc. But that was good enough for us, we mainly went there to see the scenario in which Eurotrip was filmed. We also went there to see all the nuns, which we love for some reason...

We eventually moved our way back to the hotel, and then we had a lovely (but expensive) dinner at a typical Italian restaurant with pasta and pizza.

On our way home we came across a cute vintage shop, we started windowshopping when a woman came out of the store and started speaking french with us. It turned out that the owner of the shop was a french woman who sold clothes from the 40s-70s for like 5-10€ per piece, so I went out in this tiny messy shop and actually found myself a lil something. She was a very mysterious old lady - she lured us in into this very narrow little shop full of items. Clothes everywhere. You couldn't touch anything because then the whole shop would fall apart. She only had open at night, and honestly I think she must've been on something...however she was very cool.
