un tiempo gnarly en un país righteous

during spring break, we all separated and went to different places. The twins went to Costa Rica (were all going back no doubt!!), our baby punch went to sweden, and I went to Dominican Republic.

Central and South America - so much loveee! Definitely going to trip through there. The vibe in Dominican Republic was just great, plus the language spanish just puts me in a good mood, also I got to speak so much spanish and really practice it. When it comes to the country itself it's just dazzling ;). The jungle and the ocean combined with sunsets is something so pure and simple, yet something so sublime.

Being a citygirl, seeing that kind of nature that is just so natural and untouched, is so beautiful. It makes me happy to know there still are places in the world where nature is kept its way it's supposed to. Even though Dominican Republic has struggled a lot with waste and plastic consumption, it's been getting a lot better lately and the city's cleaning up more and more, and there are a number of isolated mini-islands around the country where everything is just as peaceful as it gets.

Anywho, now we're all back in school..chilling killing is over for a while and my stressful daily life combined with sleepless nights is right back on track!

friday though we will all be reunited for real and we'll go out and paint to town red! Pumped.
